CAMPORROSSO STONE VALLEY has at its centre a small valley or trough. On each side of this valley there is a phase, an area of the project. The houses, from the top of both, look out to the sea and to the south. And they also look out onto their own large terraced spaces, spaces that give life. Terraced gardens are the eternal dream of all Mediterranean cultures, ancient and modern. And, as in the most ancient cultures, the terraces step their descent into the valley with great walls of cyclopean stone and classical masonry. Natural stone. Like three thousand years ago. And each platform brings its own beauty. The highest ones with the water, the swimming pools, the viewpoint and the social meeting areas. And the view of the sea, from above, on the right scale. The following terraces bring vegetation and paths for strolling. For meditation, for strolling and for talking to Nature. To be and to look. The two areas will be connected by a footbridge for people. A footbridge over the valley that only wanted to communicate the two areas, but turned out to be something more, as it usually happens in Camporrosso, always looking for something more.
